Jean Paul Gaultier ended Paris Fashion Week with his Spring/Summer 2013 collection on Saturday. His collection paid homage to 80s stars who have influenced fashion. A Grace Jones lookalike was the first to step out on to the catwalk, soon to be followed by Annie Lennox, Madonna, Ziggy Stardust and many more.

This is definitely a fun collection and these stars certainly influenced my fashion sense when I was growing up! What do you think? Do you think it has too much of a fancy dress element?

Ta ta for now,

Yenzi Owl Across Body - £25 from Accessorize

I was doing a bit of window-shopping with the lovely Kellie the other day and we wondered in to Accessorize at Churchill Square. It has been a while since I last went in there but they have gone Owl-tastic in there at the moment. They have blazoned beautiful owls on their bags, hats, necklaces and even headphones!

Here are a few piccys to feast your eyes on….

Shirley Sequin Owl Long Pendant - £12 from Accessorize
Peacock Feather Owl Pendant - £12 from Accessorize
Sequin Owl Zip Top - £8 from Accessorize

I love this chunky Henrietta Owl ring! I didn't see this in the shop but have just discovered it on their website. Bargaino at £12!

WHAT I WORE: 50 Shades of Purple

25 September 2012

Vintage blue blazer - found in local charity shop
Top - H&M
Jeans - Gap
Lilac High-Tops - Primark
Leather satchel - Found in Morocco on my travels

Since dying my hair lilac I have realised that all I want to wear are shades of purple and pink. High-Street shops have been filled with gorgeous items in beautiful pastels over the summer, so this hasn't been hard to achieve.

Recent new additions to my wardrobe has been this spangly top from H&M (bargaino price of £3) and a beautiful handcrafted earring made from the talented John Moore. John Moore is a local Brighton jewellery designer inspired by nature. The colours he uses to dye the metals are vibrant and eye catching. Have a peek at his collection either on his facebook page or website.

Ta ta for now!
